The calmest Sydney beaches for toddlers
Gunnamatta Bay’s netted tidal baths at Cronulla are the calmest swim in Sydney for a toddler: no waves at all. South Curl Curl’s rock pool has a toddlers’ area, and Clovelly is calm behind its breakwater with lifeguards all year. Several calm spots have no lifeguards, so stay in the water with them.
Ranked on how calm the water is, then lifeguards and facilities. Calm isn’t safe on its own: stay within arm’s reach.
